The pattern has direction.
Unlike textures that distribute variation evenly across the surface, this one moves — a tight, continuous undulation that runs with intention rather than randomness. The rhythm is consistent but never mechanical. Each crest and trough follows the same path, yet the surface reads as organic, the way water or wind-shaped material does when it settles into a natural form.
Up close, the relief is precise. The waves are tightly spaced, giving the surface a fine-grained texture that catches light in narrow bands. From across the room, the field softens into a single directional plane — calm, ordered, with just enough movement to keep it from reading flat.
On a wall, the orientation of the pattern becomes a design decision. Horizontal installation emphasizes the flow; vertical breaks it into something more structured. Either way, the surface holds its character without competing with surrounding materials.
