The motif is botanical, but the surface doesn't announce it.
Abstracted leaf forms move across the face of each piece — elongated, slightly curved, caught mid-motion as if interrupted by wind. The design is recognizable without being literal. Up close, the individual shapes are clear: overlapping planes, soft edges, a sense of arrested movement. From a distance, the pattern dissolves into a continuous textured field, the organic forms blending into something that reads more like surface variation than illustration.
The relief follows the graphic. Where the leaves overlap, depth builds — shadow collecting in the recesses, light catching the raised edges. The result is a surface that shifts throughout the day as the light source moves, never reading exactly the same twice.
It works on vertical planes where the eye has time to settle — a shower wall, a fireplace surround, a feature panel behind a vanity. The pattern is strong enough to carry a space on its own, restrained enough to sit alongside other materials without competing.
