Its hinged depth adjustment plate offers five settings—1/4”, 3/8”, 1/2”, 5/8”, and 3/4”—to match common underlayment thicknesses. Equipped with a clutch mechanism to reduce kickback, it includes a 3-3/8” carbide-tipped blade designed for wood. The diamond blade (sold separately) allows cutting tile or grout up to 3/8” deep.
