The surface reads like reclaimed wood pulled from a structure that earned its age — knots settled into the grain, color drawn out unevenly, texture worn to a softness that feels less manufactured than found.
Up close, the variation is specific: grain lines that shift direction, tonal breaks that don't repeat, surface relief that catches light differently depending on the angle. From across the room, it compresses into a continuous field — warm, grounded, with enough movement to keep the eye engaged without demanding attention.
The wide plank format extends the horizontal read of the surface, reducing visual interruption and letting the material behave more like a single plane than a pattern. It works equally well underfoot and on vertical surfaces, where the grain direction adds quiet structure to the wall.
