Leccese limestone comes out of Salento, the heel of Italy, where it is known as la pietra gentile, the gentle stone, for how readily it gives under a carver's chisel. Perla takes the palest side of it: a white ground with soft veining that leaves a room light and even.
The 4x21 chevron piece has angled ends cut to meet its neighbor in a point, so rows lay into a continuous V across a floor or wall. Matte color-body porcelain, suitable for residential and commercial installations.
