Maple's grain is tight and close to uniform, with none of oak's open pores or cathedral arches. In Fedora, a deep brown-gray, that means the color carries the room and the wood stays in the background — the choice when you want a dark floor that reads calm rather than busy.

Key Features:

• Solid ¾" maple: sand and refinish it for the life of the floor.
• 3¼" wide planks.
• Nail or staple down over a wood subfloor, at or above grade.
• Semi-gloss or ultra matte: sheen varies within this lot. Ask before ordering if sheen matters to the job.

Maple moves with humidity more than oak does. Let it acclimate in the room it will live in before it goes down.
