Smoke gray, threaded with faint charcoal and ivory veining. Fumo carries the look of Leccese limestone, the Salento rock Italians call la pietra gentile, the gentle stone, for its softness under the chisel, into a cooler register than the honey-colored original.
At 48x48, a single tile covers sixteen square feet, and the floor shows surface first, grout last. Matte color-body porcelain. A piece this size needs a flat substrate, a large-format mortar, and two people to set it. Suitable for residential and commercial floors and walls.
