Carpet Tile Adhesive Commercialon

Commercialon Premium Modular Tile and LVT Adhesive is a superior-performance, acrylic-latex, pressure-sensitive adhesive that is specifically formulated for installing PVC-backed carpet tiles and luxury vinyl tile. It is not recommended for use with non-PVC modular backings. Because of its low odor and low VOCs, Commercialon Premium Modular Tile and LVT Adhesive is ideally suited for use in health-conscious environments where odors associated with new installation are undesirable. It has great re-bond to allow simple, fast removal and replacement of modular floor coverings. It is recommended over virtually all smooth surfaces, including nonporous substrates such as marble, terrazzo, and existing clean and well-bonded resilient flooring.

WHERE TO USE
• Approved for use with luxury vinyl tile, luxury vinyl plank, and PVC backed carpet tiles.
• Interior residential (rental apartments, condominiums, and homes)
• Interior commercial (office buildings, hotel rooms and hallways, and restaurant dining areas)
• Interior heavy commercial (hotel lobbies, convention centers, airports, and department stores)
• Interior institutional (hospitals, schools, universities, libraries, and government buildings)

LIMITATIONS
• For interior installations only.
• Do not install over substrates containing asbestos.
• Do not apply directly over any adhesive residues, including cutback adhesive.
• Install flooring only in areas that are recommended by the flooring manufacturer.
• Do not install into wet adhesive over nonporous substrates.
• Do not use to install luxury vinyl tile or luxury vinyl plank with known dimensional stability issues.
• Do not use to install luxury vinyl tile or luxury vinyl plank in areas that are subject to high heat or direct sunlight.
• Do not install in areas with known hydrostatic moisture, osmotic blistering, or alkali silica reaction conditions.
• Do not use when the substrate temperature is below 50°F (10°C) or above 90°F (32°C), or when the ambient
relative humidity is greater than 65%.
• Do not install when the relative humidity (RH) of the concrete slab exceeds 90% per (ASTM F2170).
• Do not install when the Moisture Vapor Emission Rate (MVER) is greater than 10 lbs. (4.54 kg) per 1,000 sq. ft.
(92.9 m2) using the anhydrous calcium chloride test (per ASTM F1869).
• Do not install when the pH of the substrate is less than 7.0 or greater than 9.0.
