Refer to carpet pad manufacturer’s specific recommendations. Open flip-top lid. Apply adhesive 3-4 inches away from each wall in a crisscross pattern, and then apply additional adhesive under and parallel to all pad seams. Slight hand pressure on the side of the container will help regulate the flow. The adhesive should be spread in an even film. A scrap piece of carpet can be used to help spread an even film. Allow the adhesive to set open 1-2 minutes, and then lay pad immediately. 

Walk pad into the adhesive, making sure to apply pressure at the seams.
